Happy Easter!

HE is risen indeed!

We celebrated the risen Savior by being with family. Kirk had surgery last Thursday and wasn't up for the drive to Frankenmuth. I took the kids up for lunch and an egg hunt. The Crawford and Skarjune families were able to join us as well. What a fun time with family!!!

Coloring Eggs

It has become our yearly tradition to color eggs with my sisters. The children just LOVE this special time with their aunties and cousins! This year, Chad and Stepanie were able to join us. Nicole came home from college near the end or our time together. SOOOO MUCH FUN!!!

Josh's 3rd Gotcha!

So hard to believe that 3 years have gone by! We celebrated Josh's 3rd "gotcha day" by going out to a Chinese dinner with the Jagenbergs. We then watched the video and looked at pictures. My little man is certainly growing up! So interesting to hear him speaking Chinese on the video too! Seeing his precious foster grandparents reminded me of the incredible love and dedication they have for the children of China. I was choked up SO many times today just thinking about the incredible gift we were given 3 years ago. Josh continues to be so tenderhearted and full of life and love! And I have to admit ... I find myself wanting to kiss his handsome face constantly. :)

On Josh's gotcha day, we was bundled up in many layers of clothes. I pulled out this outfit and it still fits him! I let the hem out about 3 inches, but it still fits him!

Happy 8th Birthday Lilly!

The world became a much sweeter place 8 years ago today. Lilly, we are SO proud of the beautiful young lady you are and are continuing to become. We love you with all our hearts!

We asked her how it felt to be 8 and she replied, "Being 8 feels a lot older!" Then she tried to negotiate a later bedtime. What a hoot!
